In the BDO Consultant division, we are searching for a committed team player to join our Accounting team.

Responsibilities:

  • Monthly accounting in accordance with the Bulgarian accounting and tax legislation and the specific requirements of each clients;
  • Preparation of monthly VAT returns, INTRASTAT returns, management reports, tax returns, statistical reports, reports to the Bulgarian National Bank, etc.;
  • Communication with clients то clarify current accounting issues and questions;
  • Preparation of annual financial statements in compliance with the National Accounting Standards (NAS) and the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

Requirements:

  • University degree in Accounting, Finance or similar;
  • Professional experience or service in the field of accounting – minimum 2 years;
  • Good level of English (reading, speaking and writing);
  • Good knowledge of the current Bulgarian accounting and tax legislation;
  • Advanced computer skills – MS Office, accounting software, experience in generating and processing data in Excel, ERP system experience will be considered as an advantage;
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks with attention to details and to meet deadlines.
