Top level role summary

In the BDO Consultant division, we are searching for a committed team player to join our Accounting team.

What you’ll be doing

Monthly accounting in accordance with the Bulgarian accounting and tax legislation and the specific requirements of each clients
Preparation of monthly VAT returns, INTRASTAT returns, management reports, tax returns, statistical reports, reports to the Bulgarian National Bank, etc.
Communication with clients то clarify current accounting issues and questions
Preparation of annual financial statements in compliance with the National Accounting Standards (NAS) and the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

What you’ll bring

University degree in Accounting, Finance or similar
Professional experience or service in the field of accounting – minimum 2 years
Good level of English (reading, speaking and writing)
Good knowledge of the current Bulgarian accounting and tax legislation
Advanced computer skills – MS Office, accounting software, experience in generating and processing data in Excel, ERP system experience will be considered as an advantage
Ability to work on multiple tasks with attention to details and to meet deadlines.
