Your work as an IT Auditor Assistant will be related to participation in the Interviews and working meetings, testing, and documenting the Test of Design and Test of Operating Effectiveness for General IT Controls (ITGCs) and Application Controls across various applications and operating system platforms.

You will perform audit procedures across multiple platforms and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, such as Windows, SAP, Unix, Oracle, and more. Reviewing IT controls involves participating in IT controls reviews, security assessments, and IT attestations.

You will assist in the preparation of reports for clients and financial teams, and help develop and maintain productive working relationships with client personnel. Collaborating effectively as a team member, you will provide support, maintain communication, and update senior team members and management on progress, ensuring client deliverables are completed on time and meet the expected standards.


What do you need to cope with the IT Auditor Assistant role?

  • You should be a final-year student or a recent graduate in a Bachelor’s or Master’s programme in information technology, business, accounting, engineering or other related field with strong quantitative focus;
  • You are interested and motivated to develop in the field of IT audit;
  • You have good communication skills in English and Bulgarian;
  • You have advanced skills in MS Оffice (Excel);
  • You are a team player who is able to observe strict deadlines;
  • You are responsible and committed to the high-quality performance of engagements and tasks.
  • You are self-motivated to continually enhance your technical and business skills, particularly in IT audit, information security, and information technology.
  • Ideally, you’ll also have
  • Knowledge of IT architecture and network design, operating systems, database management systems, statistics, modelling and data analytics tools.
  • Professional qualifications such as CISA, CRISC, CISM, COBIT, CDPSE, ISO 27001/02 or other related to IT audit/security will be considered as advantageous.
  • Knowledge of basic principles of Accounting and Financial Reporting.
  • Knowledge of business and accounting information systems (Accounting, Billing, Payroll, ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, etc.) will also be considered as advantageous.
